2013 David and Lettie Garrett Family Reunion 

Hello Garrett Family Members,
The 2013 David and Lettie Garrett Family Reunion will be held Friday, July 19 through Sunday, July 21, 2013 at Hickory Knob State Resort Park in McCormick, S.C. – the site of the first David and Lettie Garrett reunion in 1993.

The cost of the reunion is $100 for family members ages 11 and up; $80 for family members ages 4 to 10 and free for family members ages 3 and under.

It is VERY IMPORTANT that you make your payment as soon as possible. When you send payments, please list the name of all attendees in your group or family unit. This will allow us to keep accurate records. Also, list the ages of children up to the age of 18 for the purpose of planning activities.

[If you have an emergency and you need to cancel your reservation to Hickory Knob, here are the requirements: 
30+ days prior to arrival: Refund of deposit, minus $10 handling fee and $4.10 per day transaction fee. 
15-29 prior to arrival: Refund of deposit, minus one night’s charge and $4.10 per day transaction fee.
0-14 days prior to arrival: No refund.] 

Please make your reservation by calling (800) 491-1764 and referencing the GARRETT FAMILY REUNION. A deposit of $89.21, plus tax, will be required to reserve your room. All reservations must be made by May 19, 2013. PLEASE do not delay, as reunion planners want to get an accurate count of attendees as soon as possible. Deposits can be made in the form of credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover or American Express) or may be mailed to: Hickory Knob State Resort Park; SC Department of Parks, Recreation & Tourism; 1591 Resort Drive; McCormick, S.C. 29835. Make checks payable to "Garrett Family Reunion."

BOOKING RECOMMENDATION: We strongly encourage all older family members to book in the 200 area to be closer to Hickory Knob's amenities. Booking in the 300 area will add extra walking distance to most locations at Hickory Knob.

We strongly encourage you to make plans to attend the 11th David and Lettie Garrett Family Reunion. Your prayers, attendance and support are needed for this reunion to be a success. We are asking family members to please send us corrections and updates to your family branch tree for the 2013 reunion booklet. If you attended the 2011 reunion, please review the 2011 booklet (and/or the 2009 booklet) for corrections to be made, including: births, deaths, marriages, divorces, retirement, graduations, accomplishments, etc.

Updates for the Garrett Family Reunion will also be available via email and internet, primarily at garrettfamilyreunion.blogspot.com.
